News of exam success this week from the Chichester Design offices: after many hours of revision, our managing director Ben has passed his latest Google AdWords exams and can now be seen wielding his Google Advertising Certified Professional mantle with pride.
What this qualification means is that Ben is an expert at using and applying Google AdWords, in particular with regards to search and display advertising. His expertise forms the basis of our Google AdWords Management service. There aren’t too many Google Advertising Certified Professionals around and Ben is certainly one of only a few in our region, so hats off to him.
What is Google AdWords? It is the search engine behemoth’s flagship online advertising service. AdWords offers pay-per-click (PPC) advertising and site-targeted advertising for text, banner and rich media ads. I mentioned PPC advertising a while ago – you can read about it here – it’s a popular advertising format that allows businesses to conduct targeted online advertising campaigns.
How does it work? Well, running an AdWords marketing campaign is a fluid process designed to generate the highest possible return on investment. The process involves setting up ad groups and individual ads, selecting the most suitable keywords, writing ad copy and then testing and refining the impact of the ads over a 2-3 month period.
In short, what I’ve just described is the Chichester Design Google AdWords Management service. Online advertising is becoming an increasingly powerful business tool as more and more business is done over the internet – influencing where people click when it comes to purchasing online has never been so important.
To get newcomers started, we’re currently offering an exclusive deal on our Google AdWords service: we have AdWords vouchers worth £75 to give away to new AdWords clients (one per client). Just mention this blog when you get in touch.
