I’ve been looking forward to talking about this project and now that the new website has gone live, I can spill the beans. We’ve been working with Formaplex, a leading specialist engineering company, to completely renew their corporate presence.
The design and build of a new website has been the focal point of the project and a highlight for me of this part of our work is the 3D wire-frame graphics we’ve used to demonstrate the company’s work with Formula 1 companies and elite automotive manufacturers.

The work that Formaplex carries out is very technical and one of the …

The new football season has begun and I think something we can look forward to is more social media madness from players – Twitter seems the favourite means of getting in trouble. While footballers can be largely excused for poor social media etiquette, businesses can’t.

In recent weeks, I’ve mentioned a number of new website design projects, including live website moderation company disc.cuss.it, domestic and commercial fencing firm Knight Fencing and engineering company Formaplex, and social

The animated HD web video on the homepage gives a simple introduction to the company’s live website moderation tool, conveying key information in an engaging way in a short space of time. This web video was created on the Vimeo
channel and the same can be done using YouTube. Which is best? Find out here.

It is the title of an article I read the other day which talks about how the internet is revolutionising the way in which we shop. I also think that it has a direct impact on how small businesses set out their online stall.

So why do we supposedly trust the internet over TV when it comes to parting with our hard-earned cash? Well, the article argues that the internet gives us more control. It gives us more time to consider products, research them and get price …

Buying online – I’ve blogged recently about how we trust the internet more than we do the TV – but this time it’s a different aspect of e-commerce that’s on my mind. The launch of Google Wallet has got me thinking about mobile browsing and mobile payments.
Mobile payment is by no means a new format, and the technology is much more developed in the Far East, so Google is hardly a pioneer. However, it has the power to bring the technology to the masses and quickly. So, if I were an online retailer, I’d be seriously considering how my …
