The Chichester Design team are strong advocates of the social media revolution, especially when it comes to using social networking as a means of marketing. But we’ve chatted enough about Twitter, Facebook and alike on our blog and are this time turning our attentions to Last.fm.

Well you’re not alone! We had some difficulties when we came to activate Microsoft Office 2008 on a new iMac running Snow Leopard with a disc we bought from Solution Inc in Chichester. According to Microsoft tech support the software that comes pre-installed on Apple Macs cannot be activated with a Microsoft activation key because it’s a Digital River installation. They say you must remove the pre-installed Microsoft Office 2008 software to enable the Microsoft Office 2008 software on disk to be installed and activated.

Why is it that until you stop working for the Christmas period you don’t quite realise how completely and utterly pooped you are? Up until a few days before Christmas the Chichester Design team was:
- Making final adjustments to the recently launched Harbour Cars website
- Making final prepartions for the launch of the Cobnor Activities Centre website
- Finalising webcopy, web designs and a marketing proposal for Vanilla Catering & Events, with a view to going live very soon
- Making tweaks to the Field & Fork restaurant opening times on their website and Google Local Listings to reflect their new

On Saturday the Chichester Design team (and their other halves) went to Zizzi, Chichester for their festive meal. This was a really nice opportunity to get the whole team together with their partners, reflect on the past year and think about our favourite projects and events.
Once we were all seated Kate presented the boys – Ben, Simon, Jeremy and Ashley – with their matching Christmas presents. 2009 has been a BIG year for the Chichester Design team:
- We’ve grown 50% since last year
- We’ve completed projects for companies such as Field & Fork, Chalet Floralie and Mafi Mushkila
- We’ve incorporated a marketing department offering a whole new range of services
- We’ve moved to a bigger office in Chichester and set plans in motion for a London office opening in 2010
