With the South Coast Design Forum’s fifth anniversary exhibition at the Oxmarket Centre of Arts set to open its doors next week, I thought this was a great time to mention the event again and to give people a sneak preview of the work Chichester Design has produced for the forum’s special fifth birthday book.

As part of the 350 EARTH planetary art show, Chichester Design’s managing director Ben Davis, along with around 2,000 others gathered on the Brighton-Hove seafront, and formed an image of King Canute, who futilely attempted to control the oceans according to legend. The image was designed by Radiohead‘s Thom Yorke and long time resident artist Stanley Donward who generously donated their time, energy, and art to make the event a success.

On Saturday the Chichester Design team (and their other halves) went to Zizzi, Chichester for their festive meal. This was a really nice opportunity to get the whole team together with their partners, reflect on the past year and think about our favourite projects and events.

Chichester Design would like to congratulate Sue Tivey of A Strategic Solution who is the lucky winner of our prize draw from last week’s Business Focus 09 event.

We collected business cards from all the visitors to our fire themed stand promoting our sizzling marketing services and then entered them into a draw which Simon drew yesterday when he arrived down from the Big Smoke.
