I think most of us thought the idea of putting online content behind a pay wall was a dead duck, a great act of folly that would finally usher Rupert Murdoch into retirement. I’ve got another client profile on the Chichester Design blog for you this week. We’ve recently launched a website for Anode Outlet, an online retailer of sacrificial anodes for leisure craft.
What are sacrificial anodes? Good question! You don’t hear too much about these strips of metal, but they are vital to stopping the corrosion of important parts of boats, such as hull plates and rudders. Anodes are attached to the underside of a boat and they attract the corrosion instead of the metal components of a boat.

A brand new shell? Well, a brand new website – check it out here. Snappy Crab is a local company that provides embroidered promotional and personalised clothing, and the managing director, Anne Pinder, came to us wanting to overhaul its website and boost its search engine rankings.

We’ve recently completed a new website for Chichester-based publishing company Summersdale, one of the leading non-fiction publishers in the UK and nominee for the Independent Publishers Guild’s 2010 Independent Trade Publisher of the Year award.

With our help, WineBeerExpress.com recently launched their new e-commerce website and they were thinking of an innovative and effective way to publicise their brand in the present economic conditions.
Chichester Design came to the rescue and suggested that they jump on the social media band wagon and hold an online wine tasting event, live on Twitter. The main idea was to raise brand awareness for WineBeerExpress.com online and via word of mouth through social media and eventually increase website traffic and conversions.
