This week some of the Chichester Design Team have been up in London at Internet World in Earls Court 2. The event is the leading digital marketing and online business expo with 300 exhibitors and 200 education sessions and Keynote presentations. We looked round the exhibitors stands and picked up some useful information.

Many people were stranded at home at the beginning of the New Year as a result of the adverse weather conditions. Some had to stay at home and look after their children due to school closure in the Chichester area and some were forced to stay at home because they were snowed in. You may think that working for yourself brings unlimited freedom and relaxation and although I can choose my own hours of work, taking regular holidays is quite a different story. Since I started working as a freelance copywriter and marketer and spending most of my time dedicated to projects for Chichester Design 6 months ago I haven’t taken an entire week off from work. Last night the Chichester Design team were out in force at TeamSport in Gosport, Hampshire. We have all been working so hard this year that Ben decided we deserved a fun-packed treat so he booked us a team racing extravaganza. It was all about strategy, pit stops and teamwork, with the team who completed the most laps taking the chequered flag and winning the prestigious (?) plastic cup.
