I popped along to a special event at the brand new Courtyard offices in Chichester on Thursday. The gathering was co-hosted by
the South Coast Design Forum (SCDF), the Chichester Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Royal Institute of British Architects.
The new office spaces at Vinnetrow Business Park were impressive and the large amount of natural light was a feature that stood out for me. Mark Hooper, from Kingsbridge Estates, the owners of the premises, and a representative from the architects involved in the project explained the thinking behind the design of the building. Aside from the …

With the South Coast Design Forum’s fifth anniversary exhibition at the Oxmarket Centre of Arts set to open its doors next week, I thought this was a great time to mention the event again and to give people a sneak preview of the work Chichester Design has produced for the forum’s special fifth birthday book.

Chichester Design has just become a member of the Chichester Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI). We’ve value networking in the local community and we’ve been taking part for a while now, regularly attending South Coast Design Forum (SCDF) meetings and First Friday Network meetings, so we thought it was about time that we joined ranks with other local businesses to benefit from the Chamber.
Becoming a member is important for Chichester Design because CCCI provides the voice of business, and liaises with the District Council and other partnerships, to ensure the continued economic prosperity of the area. It also …
